About Us

New England NED Alumni Association (NEDA-NE), formerly NEDAANE, a non-profit organization, was established in 2008 to represent NEDians residing in the (6) New England States of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine with a mission to support NED University, its alumni and provide opportunities for alumni in the New England area to connect and interact with technical leaders in their respective industries and disciplines, share knowledge and benefit from each other.

Since its inception, NEDA-NE has been involved in hosting various fundraisers and other social activities. NEDA-NE also started its scholarship program in 2013 to help deserving students of NED with regards to their tuition fees, books etc. on need-cum-merit basis. We have been successfully running this program since then, in which scholarships are provided for the whole course of the undergraduate degree (4 years, 8 semesters). Additionally, NEDA-NE has also assisted and helped in continuance of NED students’ education by helping them to develop projects to compete in competitions all around the world.

NEDA-NE holds an annual iftar dinner and picnic, Eid Milan get together, and other social events throughout the year to provide an opportunity for social and professional networking to its members and their families. NEDA-NE also had the honor of hosting two NED international alumni conventions, in 2008 and 2013. With the gracious help of its members and friends, NEDA-NE aims to continue its support for the betterment of the alma mater and alumni.
